Casting Safety Check
Paste a casting notice or a DM from someone claiming to be casting, and Horizon flags the classic scam signals before you reply. This runs entirely on your device β the text is never uploaded, and it's a heuristic check, not a verdict. Trust your instincts.

The rules that keep actors safe
- Never pay to audition. No legit casting charges a fee to audition, register, or "be considered."
- Never share bank details, card numbers, your SSN, or passwords. Casting never needs them.
- Keep it on the casting platform. Be wary of anyone pushing you to WhatsApp, Telegram, or a personal email.
- Real nudity work comes with a contract and a nudity rider β never an upfront DM ask.
- Search the production company and the casting director's name. No footprint is a warning.
- If it feels off, it's okay to walk away. A real opportunity won't punish you for verifying it.
This is an automated heuristic check to help you spot common scams β it can't catch everything and isn't legal or safety advice. When in doubt, check with SAG-AFTRA, the platform's trust & safety team, or someone you trust.
