Ask within 24 hours of finishing — while they're still glowing.
Text beats email — most reviews come from a one-tap link on a phone.
Ask everyone, never offer payment or perks — Google bans incentivized and gated reviews.
One reminder is fine. Don't nag past that.

How it works
Writes a ready-to-send review request text and email in four tones, with your Google review link built in from a link or Place ID.
- Enter Your business name, Your name (signature), Customer first name, and optionally What you did. Blank fields fall back to 'our business', 'The team', 'there' and 'the work'.
- Google review link or Place ID: text starting with http or https is used as typed. Anything else is treated as a Place ID and placed into a Google write-a-review link.
- Pick Friendly, Casual, Professional or Gentle follow-up. The text and email update with your details. With no link yet, they show [your review link].
- The text message shows its length and SMS segments: 160 characters each, or 70 when it has emoji, with a little less per part when split. Copy text, Copy email and Copy review link put the result on your clipboard.
- Messages are built in your browser from what you type. The page does not check that the link works, so open it yourself before you send.
Questions
- Where do I find my Place ID or review link?
- The page points to the Place ID Finder in Google's developer pages, or the short link under Ask for reviews in your Google Business Profile. Paste either one into the link box.
- Is the SMS segment count exact?
- Close, but carriers vary. Plain text fits 160 characters per segment. Emoji switch the whole text to 70, which is why the Friendly and Casual texts can take more segments.
- Can I offer something in return for a review?
- The page's tips say no. They say to ask everyone, never offer payment or perks, and that Google bans incentivized and gated reviews. They also suggest one reminder at most.
